I was joined by the Executive Producer of The Batman, to talk about his love for the comic book, and his passion for Batman which leads to him buying the movie right for Batman, and his new book, Batman's Batman!
Imagine, it's the 70s, and you're 20+ years old, and you have a huge passion for comics, and especially Batman. What in the right mind would you march up to DC's office, and say, I want to buy Batman's movie and tv right.
That is exactly what Michael Uslan, American producer of the Batman films and was the first instructor to teach an accredited course on comic book folklore at any university, did! His passion and wanting to bring Batman back to its root (after the downfall of Adam West's Batman in the '60s), led him to his decision!
Michael talks about his passion, his method of having plans B, C, D, and more, and also his determination, and persistence that led him to become the successful Executive Producer that he is today.
We also talked about his book, Batman's Batman: A Memoir from Hollywood, Land of Bilk, and Money, (which Mark Hamil also gave a testimonial), his journey of bringing Batman to the big screen, and the stories behind it!
